For 10 years Rukshana has lived in refugee camps, traveling from Malawi, Zambia, and Mozambique. At 15 years old, she finally got to travel to the United States but still had to fight sexual abuse and all the trauma she had encountered. Growing up, her family was constantly fighting. For 20 years, voices were loud, egos were bruised, and abuse occurred.
She’s happy to say though that her life did not continue the way it was going. After reading countless books, attending seminars on female lifestyle, and developing herself – she has found peace.
