Marlene Yesquen

May 15, 2018

Marlene YesquenRECIPIENT OF THE 2018 JOLIE JOHNSON LEADERSHIP AWARD

Marlene is a passionate, driven woman who is determined to succeed. She owns her law firm Yesquen Law, volunteers in the community, served on the local school board, and is a devoted mother to two boys.

As a business owner, former school board member, and volunteer with a number of local non-profits, she is constantly encouraging the people around her to succeed and to work harder to do more. Marlene leads the way by example and by doing much of what she encourages and supports others to do.

Marlene has the friendliness and positivity that Jolie Johnson was known for. She is committed to her community, and to making resources available to everyone. She strongly believes in bringing minorities and women into governance and leadership roles, and supports that wherever she can.

Through volunteering and helping people through her practice, Marlene works with people who are struggling through the worker’s compensation system and social security disability system to help them get the benefits they deserve.

Marlene is an inspiration to the rest of us — showing us how to succeed professionally, personally, and as a parent.
